About the Role:
Reporting to the Asset Manager, the purpose of this role involves operating our Biomass boiler, water treatment, wastewater treatment, refrigeration, and compressed air plants.
This position is a key role within the operations team as all services must be optimal and reliable for safe, efficient, and continual operation of the site.
About You:
You will understand Safety Management Systems relevant to your role, work in a safe manner to ensure you don’t put yourself or others at risk and proactively raise and address issues. You will coordinate and oversee the operations and repairs of boiler equipment, seek productivity gains and innovations and ensure safety performance measures, reporting and injury management are met and comply with legislative and company standards.
Experience & Knowledge: Experience in the manufacturing environment, with desired experience preferably in dairy manufacturing. Experience with computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
Skills: Advanced problem solving and fault-finding skills and a strong understanding of computer literacy for the monitoring, responding and fault finding of process control systems.
Qualifications: New Zealand Certificate in Energy and Chemical Plant Operations (ENCHEM Level 4)
