About the Company:

Our client is a top tier, iconic Aotearoa organisation. They are a motivated team dedicated to building a better future for New Zealanders. They have one of the largest budgets allocated to them and subsequently, one of the largest project offices.


About the Role:

You will be part of a critical business unit, responsible for a large budget of project work. The team takes responsibility for improving and making framework changes, and this role trains new and existing users to adopt those improvements.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading the planning and implementation of new training offerings
  • Delivering training plans, learning packages and content
  • Conducting learning needs analysis and training design, delivery and evaluation
  • Ensure their training practices and approaches remain fit for purpose
  • Evaluate training interventions to assess effectiveness


About You:
 
  • A tertiary qualification in adult education or similar
  • 3 years experience in a similar Training role
  • Demonstrated experience developing and delivering training
  • The ability to coach other team members to improve the change and training practice and knowledge base within the team
  • Supports people across a range of cultural, educational and professional backgrounds
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Interest in public sector structure, governance, processes and systems is advantageous
