About the Role:
- Reporting into the Senior Marketing Manager, this is great newly created 2IC opportunity for an intermediate level MarComms specialist to join the Brand, Marketing & Comms team within this global, complex B2B organisation.
- Tasked to write/create content, build meaningful relationships, and implement a variety of engaging integrated marketing communications initiatives. Pls note the official title is “MarComms Advisor”.
- This awesome opportunity will develop a variety of integrated marketing and communications activities and engaging content to both internal and external audiences. This will be achieved through successful communications plans and approaches.
- Working as part of a team as well as autonomously, this role will work with a variety of interesting internal segments, building relationships and stories to share. Sounds great right?!
- This role is responsible for providing MarComms support with multiple parts of the organisation – growing key relationships, then creating and implementing a comms plan though briefing and working with solid stakeholders.
- This role is tasked to create content in the following channels (social media LinkedIn, Insta, Facebook, Twitter), website, eDMs, DM, brochures, events, webinars, video content, podcasts, events), plus ideally requires an understanding of SEO and best practise CRM.
- This role requires the ability to review, edit and curate articles/content, at times distilling the complex for a range of audiences. Strong storytelling/written skills required!
- Along with reviewing competitor activity, supporting media organisation and monitoring, providing comms to leverage key events as well as supporting the team/wider business on ad hoc projects as required.
- This role is supported by a passionate team of stakeholders to deliver truly integrated work. Working with creative/design teams help create the collateral.
- So, lots of internal/external stakeholder management, finding opportunities to grow the business profile both internally/externally and excellent written communications and attention to detail are critical for success.
About You:
- You will be an intermediate level B2B Marketing & Communications professional from the services sector. Even better if you have experience in a large professional services firm, engineering, academic of government organisation. We are also open to agency Senior/Account Managers looking to go client side. If you have managed marketing/content/comms across various platforms and a passion for storytelling to connect with diverse audiences.
- You will have experience managing end to end integrated marketing & comms campaigns across various channels (social media, eDMs, DM, brochures, events, webinars, video content, podcasts, events) with an understanding of SEO and the ability to review, edit and curate articles/content distilling the complex.
- You will thrive working within a complex and dynamic workplace environment.
- You will have outstanding relationship management skills as this role works with multiple segments in the business to produce engaging MarComms with the customer at the heart of all comms. You will have the ability to read a room, ask questions and know how to find opportunities and prioritise these for the business and their segments.
- You will have outstanding written & verbal communications, project management skills and attention to detail turning our quality work to succeed in this role.
- You are openminded, flexible, adaptable, friendly with a positive mindset/energy – happy to get stuck in and do what needs to be done.
- You will be a collaborative, professional team player who enjoys working for a great purpose/vision.
