About the role:

Our client is seeking Assistant Restaurant Managers that are hungry to learn and develop. The successful candidate should be a people-focused individual, who loves to coach, mentor, and develop team members. As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for a wide variety of duties ranging from the day to day running of the restaurant, ensuring all crew provide high quality customer service, training and coaching crew members to overseeing receiving and storage of stock.

Other key duties include:
 
  • Lead the shift team to deliver exceptional customer service in line with company guidelines and incentives.
  • Resolve customer complaints and ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
  • Train, coach and supervise shift supervisors and crew members to maximize restaurant performance.
  • ensure all areas of the restaurant are presented to company standards.
  • Perform opening and closing duties and all other daily routines in accordance with company policy and procedures, stock checklists and trading hours.
  • Ensure all cash is handled in accordance with the company’s policy and procedures.


Requirements:
 
  • Previous experience in a leadership or management role in a fast casual, casual dining or similar restaurant is preferred, but not essential.
  • Previous experience in retail or service-related industry preferred.
  • Direct customer service experience.
  • Ability to engage, lead and motivate others.
  • Track record of achieving KPI’s.
  • Excellent attention to details.
