Mō te tūranga  | About the Role:

The IT Systems Administrator supports and maintains essential IT infrastructure including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software and hardware for Te Matatini and Te Matatini Enterprises, their commercial arm.  This role will also provide first stage ‘helpdesk’ support to both national office and regional teams as needed. Because this is a newly established role, there will be a ‘set up’ aspect to the mahi ensuring systems are fit for purpose and well embedded into the organisation.

This is a fixed term position for 12 months based in Te Whanganui-a-Tara / Wellington.




Mōu | About You:

As an experienced IT professional, you’ll have the ability to work as the sole IT systems support person within a growing organisation. Your experience in administering technology and networks alongside your knowledge of operating systems and active directories will see you succeed in this role. You’ll have a relevant qualification as well as excellent communication and relationship development skills that sit alongside your focussed attention to detail. An understanding and appreciation for te ao Māori and a respect for Māori cultural values and customs is important.
