The Procurement Category Manager is responsible for building strong business partnerships to support the business and to deliver to the identified commercial outcomes. The role is required to support the business by leading in developing and delivering to assigned procurement strategies/engagements across several spend areas.
Responsibilities include communicating and negotiating with suppliers, strategy development, implementation of strategies, risk management, End to end efficiency improvement, Market and cost-based analysis, Lean based process reviews, Strategic cost reduction/avoidance projects, Business case preparation, project management and senior stakeholder management.
The Procurement Business Partner will also manage general procurement engagements including product and service selection, contract negotiations, complex deals, RFX processes and general activity in relation to the procurement activities, ensuring the best value, efficiencies and effectiveness goals are achieved.

You are familiar with Agile processes, and an expert in your field. You’re able to interact with stakeholders and can adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.

What you need:
- Demonstrated procurement experience with strong ICT/Tech procurement experience
- Experienced in developing and implementing strategies and delivering the sourcing process
- Senior stakeholder management experience
- Business and commercial acumen – can think in terms of business objectives and how this is applied to the projects within their portfolio
- Strong negotiation skills
