About the Role:
This is a fast paced and genuine end-to-end FMCG Brand Manager position in an innovative dairy business. The role covers all brands within the Dairyworks portfolio and is the lead for executing across NZ retail channels, foodservice and export. There will be an added element of managing the digital and social activity.
You will support the Head of Marketing and Innovation in delivering strategic and tactical plans and execute activities associated with these to achieve Dairyworks’ sales targets.
About You:
You will ideally be an FMCG Brand Manager or Assistant Brand Manager ready for a step-up opportunity. Applicants with broader FMCG experience like shopper, trade or category management will be considered. About the Role:

You will support the Head of Marketing and Innovation in delivering strategic and tactical plans and execute activities associated with these to achieve Dairyworks’ sales targets.
- Analyse and monitor brand and category performance via available data to generate insights through to relevant actionable recommendations
- Work with retail and agency partners to develop and implement effective shopper and trade marketing campaigns
- Support the sales team (grocery, food service and export) in developing appropriate marketing material to drive business growth initiatives
- Lead commercial opportunities, NPD and renovation projects from conception through to in market execution and post launch review (this will include business case presentations, working with finance on project P&Ls, as well go to market planning)
- Own and manage digital platforms (websites and social media), collaborating with our agency partners on social media strategy and content creation
About You:
You will ideally be an FMCG Brand Manager or Assistant Brand Manager ready for a step-up opportunity. - Strong communication (verbal and presentation) skills
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple time sensitive projects simultaneously
- You love to problem solve and harness a combination of analytical skills and intuition to drive decision making
- Your adaptable and resilient and can thrive in a fast-moving, changing environment
- You are confident at assessing situations and tasks, and using your initiative to take actions
- You have a proactive can-do attitude and no qualms in rolling up your sleeves to get your hands dirty
- You have excellent Microsoft Office skills and your familiar with interpreting and using industry data reporting such as AC Nielsen or IRI, Dunhumby, Quantium)
- You thrive in collaborative environments but can also take the reigns autonomously when required
