About the Role:
This role takes the lead in providing Accounts Receivable services to the company’s main customer in New Zealand. Alongside an accounts officer, you will make decisions with customers finance contacts regarding payment plans, credit limits, and account transactions, communicate with end customers, including multi retailers and retail stores, ensuring timely payments, monitoring credit limits, and clarifying payment details.

About the Role:
This role takes the lead in providing Accounts Receivable services to the company’s main customer in New Zealand. Alongside an accounts officer, you will make decisions with customers finance contacts regarding payment plans, credit limits, and account transactions, communicate with end customers, including multi retailers and retail stores, ensuring timely payments, monitoring credit limits, and clarifying payment details.
- Manage debtor credit limits, release held accounts, allocate payments, and process memos
- Process credit applications using portals as per policy, manage customer masterdata in ERP
- Delivery of weekly cash flow forecast plan and aged trail balance
- Chase overdue invoices, provide detailed action plans, propose payment plans, ensure prompt payment
- Provide various reports including cash flow forecasts, aged trial balance, and liquidity
- Monitor and report AR metrics, maintain regular reviews with Finance/Treasury
- Assist in monthly billings, raise invoices for 3PL customer accounts
- Liaise with regional finance and Treasury teams
- Drive continuous business improvement initiatives
About You:

You will have:
- 1-3 years of Accounts Receivable and/or Credit experience
- Proficiency in JDE ERPs (Desirable)
- Background in distribution or operations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Track record of process improvement
- Results-focused with effective prioritisation, multitasking, and deadline management
- Intermediate Excel proficiency, including pivots and lookups
- Understanding of working capital, cashflows, and payment cycles
