About the Role:

Reporting to the National Credit Manager, this role handles end to end Credit Control/Accounts Receivable, as well as occasionally assisting with other various administrative/reception tasks.

Hours:  25 hours p/week in total, 5 hours p/day worked over 5 days.

Responsibilities Include:
 
  • Prepare and review new account applications for approval
  • Obtaining trade references for new customer account applications or review of credit limit increase requests
  • Processing new accounts master data into JDE
  • Entering PPSR file records via an external provider
  • Assist with timely and accurate banking/cash allocation to customer accounts
  • Assist with evaluating and setting up new accounts
  • Liaison with sales representatives regarding credit management issues with a view to achieving a commercial outcome
  • Preparation of reports as required
  • Assist with preparation and processing of journal entries
  • Assist with various adhoc duties as and when required

Experience:
 
  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • Experience with month end tasks
  • Ability to communicate with stakeholders across all levels
  • Ability to understand profit margins
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong customer focus
