Te Matatini is the organisation that celebrates and showcases Kapa Haka excellence in Aotearoa and throughout the world. They organise a significant cultural festival by the same name, Te Matatini which is the pinnacle event for Māori performing arts. Mō te tūranga | About the Role:
The Kaiwhakarite ā-Rohe Regional Administrator plays a key role supporting the Regional Director who is the conduit between rohe and Te Matatini National Office. As part of this role, you will manage administration tasks for the regions, supporting Pou Takawaenga and the rohe governance committees. You will coordinate hui and undertake a varied range of administrative tasks including minute taking, document development and providing data and insights by rohe as needed.
This is an exciting and varied role. It is full time, permanent position based in Te Whanganui-a-Tara.
Mōu | About You:
As an administrative professional, you will have the ability to coordinate and support multiple stakeholders. You’ll also be highly organised, have strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise your work successfully. You’ll have terrific computer skills including in the use of Microsoft Office and be systems savvy. Communication will be another strength as will proficiency in Te Reo Māori and your comfort in a kaupapa Māori environment.
