They organise a significant cultural festival by the same name, Te Matatini which is the pinnacle event for Māori performing arts. With the shift in understanding and recognition of how Kapa Haka contributes to the wellbeing of our diverse communities in Aotearoa, Te Matatini has identified its place as a leader to support the growth and potential of Māori.

Mō te tūranga | About the Role:
You’ll have a key role in driving the continued growth and success of Te Matatini and in addition to performing financial and operational modelling, you’ll streamline and improve internal and external reporting using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Power BI or similar systems. A key element to this role is providing financial modelling that underpins sound business decision-making and communicates financial insights that help with the decision-making process.
This is a key role in the growth and development of Te Matatini. It is full time, permanent and based in Te Whanganui-a-Tara.
Mōu | About You:
As an experienced Business Analyst, you will have demonstrated success in developing and implementing a range of initiatives. You’ll be technically savvy with experience using ERP, Power BI or similar, as well as having advanced skills in the Microsoft Office suite. Having strong communication and reporting skills will help you communicate technical information to a varying range of stakeholders as will your excellent presentation ability. You will be comfortable operating in a tikanga and kaupapa Māori environment and have some familiarity of Te Ao Māori along with a respect for Māori cultural values and customs.
