About the Company:

You will be working with a specialist logistics company who look after the import, warehousing and distribution side of the wider business group. With their own separate warehouse and facilities, and close working ties to several internal and external stakeholders, they are the experts in what they do. Based in Mt Wellington, Auckland this is a newly created position working alongside a supportive and diverse team.


About the Role:

As Inventory Administrator, you will assist and support the warehouse inventory team in their endeavors to maintain inventory accuracy and efficiency. As a DC Associate, you will assist and support the warehouse team, by ensuring all service levels and objectives are met in a timely manner.
 
  • Support with coordination and organisation of the shared inbox, ensuring it is monitored and actioned in a timely manner.
  • Ensure picking and dispatched errors are resolved within 24 hours.
  • Ensure the inspection area is being monitored and maintained daily. 
  • Assist with planning of stock takes as required.
  • Work closely with the Inwards team to achieve effective storage solutions.
  • Work with the Team Leaders to ensure the Dispatch and Inwards areas are clear and controlled, and communicate to the DC Coordinators where there are issues and delays.
  • Ensure quality standards are met and participate in continuous improvement activities.

This role will be based in Mt Wellington, with parking on site and has flexible start and finish times.  You will gain the opportunity to loan company vehicles, and be part of a supportive and dynamic team environment.


About You:
 
  • You will have an interest in inventory or logistics and want to be in a hands-on working environment.
  • You will be proactive in the way you work and happy to help your team when needed.
  • You will have a high attention to detail.
  • You will be a keen learner and ask plenty of questions.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel would be an advantage, although there will be training provided.
