About the Company:

This organisation is a leader in innovative and diversified supply chain and logistics solutions. With an enviable portfolio of local and international clients, they distribute and manage complex inventory for a number of customers. With import and export being a key area for them, we are looking to find self-motivated individuals to take charge of given shifts across fortnightly rosters – ensuring a smooth running, highly compliant and accuracy driven operation.


About the Role:

This is a hands-on, operational role where you will be trusted with key import/export processes on the floor. You’ll be dealing with a variety of perishable products, all of which needing high levels of compliance regarding handling and storing. This is specific to their airfreight operation, so experience in this environment would be great. Experience with perishable products would also need to be part of your work history to date. You’ll be liaising with a number of internal and external stakeholders and have a very good eye for detail and process compliance. Depending on the shift, you could be leading a team of anywhere from 1-6, sometimes more in peak seasons – so coordination and team work will also need to be part of your skillset. You’ll be in and amongst the action and leading from the front at all times. Enjoy a cup of tea with the team between scheduled inbound/outbound shipments, and jump to action when it’s go time. This is shift based work, with two weekends a month being part of that. Additional financial compensation for weekends, and overtime available to boost earnings even more.


About You:

You’ll be a self-motivated, hands-on warehousing professional who likes to lead teams from the front. Great communication skills, a process driven mindset and ability to work at pace with accuracy always forefront, is what we’re looking for. You’ll need to have your fork hoist license and be able to work to fortnightly rosters. There will also be opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement of process, and training of others.
