About the Company:
Our client is a specialist logistics company who look after the import, warehousing and distribution side of the wider business group. With their own separate warehouse and facilities, and close working ties to several internal and external stakeholders, they are the experts in what they do. They are now looking for a bright, detail orientated, team focused Inventory Controller to join them, and take up a pivotal role within that function.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for all daily and routine inventory tasks, working collaboratively with others across the warehouse and office to ensure accuracy, efficiency and overall best practise.

About You:
You’ll have experience working in a hands-on inventory function (ideally relating to parts – even better if automotive). This is a very team-centric environment so we’re looking for supportive, collaborative people who like to work with others and contribute to a positive, well-functioning working environment. You’ll need to have a great eye for detail, take pride in your work, be efficient and helpful, and want to take responsibility for keeping the inventory function accurate and succinct.

About the Role:
You will be responsible for all daily and routine inventory tasks, working collaboratively with others across the warehouse and office to ensure accuracy, efficiency and overall best practise.
Some main responsibilities will include:
- Tracking and monitoring inventory levels through routine cycle counts
- Investigating discrepancies and identifying solutions
- Taking responsibility for storage configuration to assist wider operational efficiency
- Overseeing replenishment and reverse logistics
- Assisting the planning and coordination of annual/full stock takes
- Mentoring and supporting the Inventory Administrator
- Ensuring upkeep of relevant SOPs and assisting with continuous improvement
- Working collaboratively with warehousing and management teams
