About the Role:  

As the Procurement Manager you will partner with business units to develop and execute capital procurement/operations, procurement category strategies and plans, deliver supplier relationship and contract management outcomes and overall assist in the delivery of the best “value for money” outcomes for the organisation.
 
  • Strong experience in business planning, target setting and measurement.
  • Experience using SAP Ariba.
  • Advanced in Microsoft (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) suite.
  • Proven ability in establishing and implementing procurement activity pipelines and category strategies.
  • Curiosity for learning and delivering on new ideas or ways of working.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to relate to people at all levels in the organisation.
  • Highly effective influencing and persuasion skills necessary to achieve results with stakeholders.
  • Experience in change management and/or transformation.

You will probably have a tertiary qualification preferably Procurement or related business degree and have done complementary negotiation and contract skills training. You will have experience in leadership roles including considerable strategic procurement experience.
