This role is all about exceeding customer expectation, by establishing and maintaining their project management and service delivery practice.
You will provide technical leadership, architecture, and design advice to clients, helping them select technology and services. You will help stimulate opportunities for the business units by demonstrating / highlighting what is possible!
This role will be the technical lead for the implementation of the more complex requirements our clients have and ensure a high degree of success.

About the Role:

You will provide technical leadership, architecture, and design advice to clients, helping them select technology and services. You will help stimulate opportunities for the business units by demonstrating / highlighting what is possible!
This role will be the technical lead for the implementation of the more complex requirements our clients have and ensure a high degree of success.
About You:
You have a broad technology knowledge, excellent design, and solution implementation skillset.
Experience:
- At least 10 years’ experience in the IT Industry
- Proven track record in solution design and implementation
- Technical leader involved in large scale business
- Technical writing and documentation to a high standard
- Critical thinker who can demonstrate problem solving and decision-making skills articulate the process used
- Focus and technical knowledge – in depth, in at least one area of technology (Networking)
- Strong proficiency across:
- Core Microsoft technologies (e.g., AD, Printing, DHCP, DNS)
- Virtualisation technologies (e.g., VMWare)
- Storage technologies (SAN, DAS, NAS)
- Application delivery (e.g., RDS and Citrix)
- Data protection, backup, and recovery
- Core Application (e.g., MS Exchange and SQL)
- Networking: LAN, WAN, Wireless and Perimeter
- Security: Threat detection, mitigation, and prevention
- Extensive involvement in infrastructure projects, including replacement or upgrade of infrastructure components
- Sound understanding of the connectivity between desktop, server and network hardware, as well a functioning across a distributed environment
- Sound understanding of infrastructure architecture and design
- Have facilitated and structured technical workshops – internal and external
- Expert in creating designs in Visio.
- Relevant tertiary qualification (Computer Science / Computer Engineering)
- MCSE, or other vendor training courses relevant to infrastructure
- Understanding or qualification in key IT methodologies: ITIL, TOGAF, Kepner, Tragoe
- Drivers Licence
- Self-Managed and motivated
- Passionate about IT and solutions
- Enjoys working with others and is happy to offer and receive help
